BLS for Healthcare Providers
This is an American Heart Association class designed for the Healthcare professional (i.e. EMT, RN, CNA, LVN). The course will cover basic CPR for adult, child, infant, and two-person. It will include bag valve mask use and AED training. All participants who successfully complete the written exam and skills demonstration will receive a BLS for Healthcare Provider course completion card that is valid for two years. This course includes the New AHA Manual with the New ECC 2005 Guidelines. ONLINE COURSE AVAILABLE HERE

CPR and AED for the Community and Workplace
The goal of the CPR and AED for the community and workplace is to provide individuals with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide effective basic life support in an emergency. Students master necessary skills for the administration of CPR. They learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support, and what to do in the case of an airway obstruction or choking. This course can include Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED or just Adult CPR/AED.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Upon completion of this class the participant will be able to know how to manage cardiorespiratory emergencies by using the systematic ACLS guidelines of the American Heart Association, (AHA). You will know how to evaluate and manage a sudden adult respiratory arrest, VF/VT arrest, asystole, pulseless electrical activity, bradycardias, stable and unstable tachycardias, acute coronary syndromes, and acute stroke. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Upon completion of this PALS class the healthcare provider will be able to understand how to recognize and prevent the common causes of pediatric injuries and emergencies that require resuscitation. You'll understand how to recognize respiratory failure, shock, cardiac arrest, and initiate advanced resuscitation with airway and ventilation control, vascular access, fluid and medication therapy, as well as identify and treat rhythm disturbances.

Basic First Aid
Program participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies like bleeding, shock, burns, strains, fractures, allergic reaction, diabetic emergencies and seizures is shared. Basic First Aid is the most popular program offered by ASHI. This nationally accepted program satisfies the requirements of the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). This program can be used for community and workplace programs.

Bloodborne Pathogens Training
This program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030).
